Among the players linked with a move to the club is Rafael Leão, whose future at AC Milan appears uncertain due to a strained relationship with new coach Paulo Fonseca. The Portuguese forward has seen his role reduced to that of a substitute but recently reminded everyone of his abilities with a standout performance in Milan’s Champions League victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Leão showcased his speed, skill, technique, and physicality, playing a decisive role despite efforts from defenders like Lucas Vázquez and Éder Militão. His display has increased his market value, with numerous clubs expressing interest. However, Milan has lowered their asking price for the 24-year-old, setting it at 65 million euros, down from the initial 90 million euros.
Premier League teams, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, are closely monitoring the situation. Despite this interest, Leão has expressed a clear desire to join Hansi Flick’s Barcelona project. He has instructed his agent, Jorge Mendes, to prioritize negotiations with the Catalan club, hoping that Joan Laporta and Deco will finalize a deal to bring him to Camp Nou.
