Liverpool supporters are continuing to demand that the club extends Mohamed Salah’s deal after his latest matchwinning performance against Southampton on Sunday (24 November).

Mohamed Salah delivered a match-winning performance with a brace in Liverpool’s 3-2 comeback victory over Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points. The 32-year-old’s goals brought his tally of direct goal involvements in the league this season to 16, while also making him the third player in Liverpool’s history to score 100 away goals.

Salah’s achievements also saw him surpass Frank Lampard in Premier League goal involvements, moving up to fifth place in the all-time rankings for a single club. With 239 goal contributions, only legends like Thierry Henry, Harry Kane, Ryan Giggs, and Wayne Rooney have more.

As Salah’s contract nears its expiration at the end of the season, Liverpool fans are voicing their concerns, urging the club to resolve the situation promptly and extend his stay. Many supporters have made it clear that failing to keep Salah would be “FSG’s worst decision ever,” with calls to ensure the Egyptian is paid whatever it takes to remain at Anfield.
