Barcelona will face Brest tomorrow at Montjuïc Stadium in a crucial Champions League encounter. The Catalan side is aiming to extend their winning streak in the competition, having secured victories in the last three rounds against Young Boys, Bayern Munich, and Red Star. Currently, Barcelona sits sixth in the group standings with 9 points, trailing Liverpool, the leaders, by three points.

As per reports from the Catalan newspaper *Sport*, Alejandro Balde, who played through discomfort in the match against Celta Vigo, remains a concern. While he managed to feature in that game, coach Hans Flick chose to rest him to prevent further injury. A fitness test conducted ahead of the Brest match determined that Balde is still not fully fit, and the German coach is likely to exclude him from the squad for tomorrow’s game.

Meanwhile, rising star Lamine Yamal has been ruled out due to an ankle injury. The young talent has missed Barcelona’s last two La Liga matches, during which the team struggled to secure a win. With key players unavailable, Barcelona’s lineup will be closely watched as they look to strengthen their position in the Champions League.
