Liverpool fans ‘want Richard Hughes out’ after journalist’s Mohamed Salah update

Paul Joyce of *The Times* reports that Mohamed Salah’s priority is to remain at Liverpool, as he is settled with his family and enjoys strong support from the fanbase. Salah also finds manager Arne Slot “very straight” in his dealings, but his contract is set to expire in the summer, leaving him free to negotiate with foreign clubs in January.

The 32-year-old winger could sign a pre-contract agreement with another team as early as January, putting pressure on Liverpool’s management to secure a new deal with the Egyptian star. Salah is not the only high-profile player with an expiring contract, as Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold face the same situation.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Salah is having an exceptional season, contributing 10 goals and 10 assists in 17 appearances across all competitions.
