Liverpool is prepared to offer Kostas Tsimikas to a Premier League heavyweight in exchange for their star defender, with Tsimikas reportedly agreeing to a move.
Liverpool are reportedly aiming to strengthen their defense by targeting Fulham’s Antonee Robinson. According to TBR Football, the club is considering a player-plus-cash deal, possibly involving Kostas Tsimikas, to secure the £40 million-rated left-back.
Robinson, a key figure for Fulham, has garnered considerable interest, with Manchester United also said to be monitoring him. The potential swap deal involving Tsimikas remains uncertain, as it is unclear whether Fulham would accept the Greek international in exchange for Robinson.
With Andrew Robertson entering the latter stages of his career and showing signs of decline, Liverpool is eager to find a long-term solution. At 27, Robinson is at the peak of his career and could be the perfect addition to the squad.
His Premier League experience would allow him to make an immediate impact, and a move to Liverpool would provide him the chance to compete in the Champions League and challenge for major titles.
Tsimikas, a reliable squad player for Liverpool, may find more consistent playing time at Fulham, which could benefit both him and the club. However, player-plus-cash deals are often complex, and it’s unclear whether Tsimikas would be open to a move.
Liverpool must act quickly if they hope to secure Robinson, as his arrival would significantly strengthen their defense and provide much-needed reinforcements.
