Ruben Amorim Has Been Advised By Ian Wright To Sign Liverpool’s “Monster” Midfielder For Manchester United In A Surprising Transfer That Could Have A Major Impact On The Premier League

Manchester United are beginning a new phase under Ruben Amorim’s guidance, and ex-player Dwight Yorke believes Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez would be the perfect first signing.

United recently dismissed Ten Hag after a poor spell, securing only 11 points in nine matches, with their goal-scoring among the lowest in the league.

Current forwards Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have managed just two Premier League goals combined, leading to speculation that United may seek a new striker in January.

Amorim is expected to officially take charge during the November international break, with his first game set to be against Ipswich Town.

Yorke has suggested that United should make an ambitious move for Nunez, a player he thinks could flourish with consistent playing time and become a strong asset.

“If I could pick a number nine for United, I’d try to bring Darwin Nunez from Liverpool,” Yorke said in an interview. “Some may question this, given his recent form, but I see great potential. He has a powerful physical presence, a bit of grit, and I think he’d be a major addition.”

Nunez, who joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 for £85 million, has shown flashes of brilliance despite some inconsistency.

The 25-year-old has only scored once in the Premier League this season, yet Yorke is optimistic he could excel with more regular play.

“Nunez is someone I’d bet on for the number nine role,” Yorke added. “While Ollie Watkins is talented, United needs a more commanding striker. With steady game time, I believe Nunez could thrive in the Premier League.”

Although Nunez’s Liverpool contract runs through 2028, reports suggest Liverpool might look for a new striker by 2025, which could pave the way for a future transfer.

Meanwhile, Amorim is also rumored to have plans to offload four United players by January. Sources indicate that Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof, Casemiro, and Antony could be listed for transfer.

With high wages of £350,000 and £200,000 per week respectively, the club is open to offers of around £25 million each for Casemiro and Antony. However, interested clubs may wait until Eriksen and Lindelof’s contracts end next summer to avoid transfer fees.
