Pedri reveals why Hansi Flick would put any Barca player on the bench
During his passage in the’ Martinez and Hermanos this week, Pedri revealed that Hansi Flick had introduced a new’aendes system at FC Barcelona, where players have to pay thousands of’euros for every minute of delay in’training.
“But that’s not all”: the coach also vowed to strictly penalize any player who breaks the rules, no matter their position on the team.
Pedri explains why Hansi Flick wouldn’t hesitate to bench any Barca player! According to the midfielder, if such an issue arose, Flick wouldn’t hesitate to bench top players like Robert Lewandowski, even in a crucial match like a Champions League semi-final.
This isn’t just a statement—the coach already enforces his principles. Recently, starting right-back Jules Kounde was benched in the game against Alaves for arriving late to the pre-match meeting.
