Man City player told he’s ‘finished’ by supporters after Bournemouth disasterclass

Manchester City fans appear to have lost patience with Kyle Walker following his underwhelming performance in the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.

After their midweek Carabao Cup loss to Spurs, City hoped to rebound but were dealt a second consecutive defeat, missing the chance to capitalize on Arsenal’s early loss to Newcastle. Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo and Evanilson found the net, while Josko Gvardiol scored a late header for City in consolation.

While several City players underperformed, Walker’s display drew particular attention from supporters. Returning from injury to captain the side, Walker struggled at right-back, finding himself outmatched by Semenyo. Both Bournemouth goals originated from Walker’s side, with him failing to intercept a cross for the second goal.

Fans expressed their frustration, with comments like: “Antoine Semenyo vs Kyle Walker is BRUTAL… and not for the Bournemouth forward,” and “Respect Kyle Walker, but in the nicest way possible, he’s passed it now.” Another fan bluntly stated, “GET RID OF KYLE WALKER NOWWWWWWWW.”

City will look to bounce back on Tuesday in the Champions League against Sporting CP before facing Brighton in the Premier League next weekend.
