Kylian Mbappé is reportedly involved in a rape investigation in Sweden and is willing to cooperate with the judicial system, as confirmed by his lawyer on Thursday. Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard stated that he is committed to providing explanations to the Swedish authorities if needed.

Canu-Bernard criticized media reports suggesting that Mbappé had commented on his visit to Stockholm. Both *Le Parisien* and *RMC Sports* indicated that during his trip, Mbappé engaged in consensual relations with a young woman, and he has messages from her that reflect a positive interaction. However, it remains unverified whether the complainant in the case is the same person.

Mbappé, currently sidelined due to a thigh issue, missed the Nations League squad. He traveled to Stockholm with friends from October 9 to 11. Following their departure, a woman filed a police report alleging rape.

After *Aftonbladet* reported the investigation, Mbappé dismissed the allegations as “fake news” on social media, suggesting they are connected to a financial dispute with Paris Saint-Germain. A hearing took place regarding the matter, and while a Swedish prosecutor confirmed an investigation, Mbappé was not named.

Canu-Bernard reassured that the 2018 World Cup winner feels secure in his position, asserting that he has done nothing wrong.
