According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca,” Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham was seen speaking heatedly with Vinicius Junior in the tunnel after the match. Their raised voices prompted Valverde to step in and diffuse the situation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive atmosphere following the win.
Bellingham voiced strong discontent with Vinicius, criticizing his perceived selfishness during the game. Bellingham found himself in scoring positions, but Vinicius opted for challenging shots instead. Valverde reportedly urged Vinicius to focus on the team’s goals over individual play. The report noted that Bellingham is frustrated with Vinicius’s recent performance, particularly his lack of effective pressure on the opponent’s defense, which adds to the pressure on Bellingham himself.
