Bundesliga forward Omar Marmoush has emerged as a major transfer target for both Arsenal and Liverpool, according to sources from FootballTransfers. The Egyptian international, currently with Eintracht Frankfurt, has made a strong impression in the Bundesliga, attracting interest from these Premier League teams. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is particularly keen on signing Marmoush, even contemplating the possibility of letting go of Gabriel Jesus, who has been out of form.

Liverpool, managed by Arne Slot, is also keeping a close watch on the situation. They would need to create space in their squad to fit Marmoush, indicating the competitive nature of the pursuit between the two clubs.

Eintracht Frankfurt is reluctant to part with their standout forward and is reportedly seeking to extend Marmoush’s contract by an additional year amid growing interest from England. Nevertheless, Frankfurt is expected to consider offers around €35 million, even though Marmoush’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at only €17.3 million, suggesting the club sees considerable potential in him.

After Eintracht Frankfurt’s 3-1 victory over Besiktas last week, club director Markus Krosche addressed the transfer speculation, acknowledging the interest but reaffirming the club’s intention to keep Marmoush. He highlighted the player’s development and potential, while admitting that no player is completely untouchable.

Since joining Eintracht from Wolfsburg on a free transfer last summer, Marmoush has made a significant impact, scoring 17 goals in his debut season and netting nine goals in just nine matches this season. His outstanding performances have attracted attention from top European clubs.

For Arsenal, acquiring Marmoush could be pivotal as Arteta looks to strengthen his squad. Given Jesus’s inconsistent performances and injury issues, Marmoush’s versatility and finishing skills could offer a new attacking option to help the Gunners compete more effectively.

Liverpool could view Marmoush as a vital addition, particularly with uncertainties surrounding some of their current attackers. His capability to play in various attacking positions would complement Slot’s pressing style and could introduce an element of unpredictability to Liverpool’s offense.

As the January transfer window approaches, the competition for Marmoush is likely to intensify. Frankfurt’s efforts to keep him will be challenged by enticing offers from Premier League clubs. Regardless of whether Marmoush stays in the Bundesliga or moves to England, his future is poised to be one of the most intriguing storylines in the current transfer market.
