A reporter from Sky Sports has revealed some of the utmost importance information regarding the transfer of Alisson Becker to Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich is not considered to be pursuing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.
Questions about Alisson’s long-term position at Anfield have arisen frequently over the past year, prompting Liverpool to prepare for his potential exit by acquiring Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia earlier this year.
Although clubs from Saudi Arabia have shown interest in Alisson, there have been rumors about Bayern contemplating a move for the Brazilian as they brace for life without the veteran Manuel Neuer, who will be 39 next year.
However, Florian Plettenberg has refuted the idea that Bayern might seek to bring Alisson from Liverpool, stating that the goalkeeper is not part of their strategy.
Instead, Bayern aims to maintain their connection with Neuer, planning to extend his contract by another year until 2026.
There are also plans for Alexander Nubel to eventually take over Neuer’s position. The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Stuttgart and has rejoined the Bundesliga team on a two-year loan this summer.
Nubel is expected to return to Bayern in 2026, when he is anticipated to succeed Neuer.
As for Alisson, he is contracted to Liverpool until 2027, with Mamardashvili poised to compete for the starting role next summer.
