It is with great pleasure that we announce that Thomas Tuchel, a former manager at Chelsea, has been appointed to the position of manager at this Premier League team, which is a surprising development.

Following a streak of five matches that included a draw with Aston Villa on Sunday, the 54-year-old manager is at a crucial juncture. Their performance has left them positioned 14th in the Premier League.
Co-owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Joel Glazer met with chief executive Omar Berrada and Ineos head of sport Sir Dave Brailsford at Old Trafford on Monday.
Ten Hag’s future was one of the topics discussed in a Tuesday meeting in London between Ratcliffe and senior officials.
However, Ten Hag is focused on making improvements rather than contemplating his future. He stated during the match at Villa Park that if he were under pressure, the United leadership would have informed him.
“They should have told me; I don’t have an alternative plan. We communicate quite openly and transparently,” he noted. “I believe I will speak with them every day since we have those discussions.
You put it well—external noise. Internally, we feel let down. We need to improve, particularly in our scoring.”
Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is among the potential candidates to succeed the Dutchman. Ten Hag’s assistant, Ruud van Nistelrooy, could take temporary charge, and Gareth Southgate has also been mentioned.
A poll conducted by the Manchester Evening News identified nine potential next managers among supporters. Tuchel led the poll with 29 percent of the votes, followed by Zinedine Zidane with 16 percent.
Van Nistelrooy garnered 12 percent, while former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and Inter Milan’s Simone Inzaghi each received 6 percent.
Five percent of supporters voted for Michael Carrick, with Kieran McKenna and Graham Potter each receiving 4 percent, and Southgate getting 3 percent.
