Early in the match in Budapest, the Reds’ number 38 was about to gain possession near the sideline when he was approached by teammate Dominik Szoboszlai.
Without much concern for his teammate’s proximity, Gravenberch swiftly maneuvered past him and deftly moved the ball away from the Hungary captain, who, to his credit, fought hard to reclaim it in a subsequent challenge.
The two might find it amusing when they reunite at Liverpool in a few days, but it’s likely our number 8 wasn’t too pleased about being outmaneuvered by his on-fire clubmate so early in the game last night.
