Real Madrid Join Liverpool in Race for Bundesliga Star Boasting 10 G/A

Liverpool is considering Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi as a possible successor to Mohamed Salah as they look for long-term attacking solutions at Anfield. The 22-year-old is celebrated for his direct style, remarkable speed, and technical skills, positioning him as a strong candidate to fill Salah’s role when the time comes.

Adeyemi’s market value is approximately €50 million, a price Liverpool can easily manage given their financial strength. However, the situation has become more complicated with Real Madrid also showing interest, seeing Adeyemi as a potential replacement for the reportedly departing Rodrygo.

Liverpool now faces tough competition for Adeyemi, with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal also in the mix. He has established himself as one of the top young talents in the Bundesliga, having recorded five goals and five assists—totaling ten contributions—in just eight appearances this season.

Despite the €50 million asking price, the interest from these clubs suggests it won’t be a deterrent. Ultimately, landing Adeyemi may depend on which club can present a more attractive sporting vision. Liverpool and manager Arne Slot will need to make a compelling case to persuade him to choose Anfield over the competition.

As the battle for Adeyemi intensifies, the key question is whether Liverpool can leverage their project appeal to secure this highly coveted player.
