If he choose Arsenal over Man City, I’ll resign as a football coach…He’s the player we can’t afford to see him playing for them, they may become undefeatable with him”: Pep Guardiola angered by World-class player’s decision to join Arsenal as Man City increases bid to convince him from Arsenal transfer

Arsenal is on a positive trajectory under Mikel Arteta and is reportedly looking to make key additions to enhance the squad in 2025.
According to CaughtOffside, Bournemouth players Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez are being considered by the Gunners, with both valued at around €80 million.
With the possible exits of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney, the club might need to offload players like Jakub Kiwior to accommodate a new left-back, especially since Riccardo Calafiori has just joined and Jurrien Timber is also an option.
Arsenal’s ambitions are evident: after narrowly missing out on the Premier League title in the last two seasons, they are poised to finally claim the trophy. With Manchester City underperforming and key player Rodri sidelined for the rest of the season, Arsenal is in a favorable position.
After being somewhat cautious with spending over the summer, they should have the necessary resources to make moves in January if deemed necessary.
The report states that Semenyo is seen as a potential backup for the invaluable Bukayo Saka, while Kerkez could serve as an alternative at left-back.
Signing Semenyo (24) and Kerkez (20) would require a significant investment, as Bournemouth’s €80 million valuation poses a challenge. Arsenal’s transfer strategy will need careful negotiation, as although both players are young and have Premier League experience, they are not necessarily ‘level raisers.’
It would not be surprising for Arsenal to explore the Premier League market again, given their previous successes in this area. The acquisitions of players like Ben White, Leandro Trossard, Declan Rice, and David Raya demonstrate that investing in the league can yield positive results.
