FA make decision on Nicolas Jackson ban as Chelsea and Nottingham Forest handed punishment for brawl

The FA has made a ruling regarding a potential retrospective ban for Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson after footage appeared to show him ‘slapping’ an opponent.
Chelsea couldn’t take advantage of their strong start to the new Premier League season, settling for a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.
Chris Wood put the visitors ahead in West London, but Noni Madueke equalized before the hour mark.
The most significant incident of the match occurred when Forest’s Nico Williams allegedly pushed Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella into Maresca, leading to a touchline scuffle.
Six Chelsea players were booked during the match: Cucurella, Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Wesley Fofana.
Cucurella and Fofana’s yellow cards mean they will miss Chelsea’s next match against Liverpool, having received their fifth bookings in just seven games this season.
Despite the incident involving Jackson, the striker faced no disciplinary action, even though video evidence showed him appearing to slap Forest’s Morato, who came on as a late substitute for former Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Following a review of the footage, the FA opted not to impose a ban on Jackson, allowing him to be available for the upcoming trip to Anfield.
Additionally, both Chelsea and Nottingham Forest have been charged by the FA for failing to control their players, but there will be no further action taken against Jackson.
