Diogo Dalot slammed by Man Utd fans after he gives excuse for why the players are ‘suffering’ this season

Manchester United supporters have voiced their dissatisfaction with Diogo Dalot after he offered what they see as an “absurd” rationale for the team’s difficulties this season. The club has had a tough start, losing three Premier League games, including a 3-0 loss to Tottenham. Dalot indicated that the ongoing restructuring within the club, including recent hires like Omar Berrada and Justin Wilcox, has played a role in the team’s challenges. He noted that the team is “suffering” through this transition but insisted that improved performance and consistency would eventually yield positive results.

Nevertheless, many fans took to social media to criticize Dalot’s remarks. One user pointed out, “The management structure isn’t the 11 players on the pitch.” Others shared similar views, with another fan sarcastically remarking, “Suffering before restructure and suffering after—interesting.” Several highlighted Dalot’s own defensive errors, with one commenter stating, “He literally stopped tracking his man after 3 minutes!”

This backlash underscores the increasing frustration among the fanbase as the team continues to falter, despite the ongoing changes at the managerial and board levels.
