Bayern Munich is facing challenges in negotiating a new contract with star player Jamal Musiala, who has attracted attention from leading European clubs such as Premier League heavyweights Liverpool and Manchester United. Despite Musiala’s current contract with Bayern running until 2026, the club is eager to keep him due to his recent exceptional performances. There are indications of increased interest from Liverpool, while the Daily Mirror has reported that Manchester United is also targeting Musiala, suggesting a possible transfer contest if he does not extend his stay at Bayern soon.

Bayern executive Max Eberl has acknowledged that the situation might be “difficult,” though not impossible. In a discussion with Sport1, Eberl highlighted Musiala’s importance to Bayern, remarking: “It’s difficult, but not impossible – Jamal knows what he has at Bayern Munich. He grew up here and has developed into a top player. Talks are intensifying. We are extremely ambitious, and he understands that we aim to win titles.”

Having started his career at Chelsea’s academy before joining Bayern, Musiala might find the prospect of English football appealing. The Premier League, renowned for its competitiveness and excitement, could offer him a valuable opportunity to further demonstrate his abilities, especially with high-profile clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United expressing interest.
