Fans urge Bruno Fernandes to DELETE post after commenting on Jason Sancho’s Instagram pic after stunning Chelsea debut

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes reacted to Jadon Sancho’s Instagram post celebrating his Man of the Match performance in his debut for Chelsea against Bournemouth. Sancho, who came on for Pedro Neto at halftime, made a significant impact on the left wing and assisted Christopher Nkunku’s winning goal.

Sancho, who is currently on loan at Chelsea from United, shared on Instagram: “Delighted to make my @chelseafc debut, and to top it off with a win.”

Fernandes, who previously captained Sancho at Old Trafford, commented: “Some player you 🔥 keep that smile.”

However, some fans have criticized Fernandes for his response. One wrote, “Be serious, Bruno,” while another simply commented, “Delete.” Additional comments included “You having a laugh Bruno?!!!” and “Some captain you are 😂 Roy Keane would have dragged you out by the scruff of your shirt.” Another fan remarked, “He disrespected the club and fans you play for.”

In Fernandes’ defense, one fan stated, “He is praising his friend..? This is the problem with this world.”

Fernandes contributed an assist in United’s 3-0 win over Southampton. Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca subtly criticized United’s Erik Ten Hag, who had benched Sancho following a public disagreement over his training methods. Maresca said, “I feel Jadon is a player who needs support. This is what I thought when I spoke with him before he joined us. He has the desire to prove himself, but the key is to enjoy football. When they are happy and enjoying the game, they perform well.”

Chelsea will face West Ham next weekend, and United will visit Crystal Palace.
