🚨BREAKING: Arsenal’s BIGGEST Transfer MOVE Yet?!

Arsenal have already targeted several prominent signings to finally overcome Manchester City’s supremacy under Pep Guardiola. Mikel Arteta, having been edged out of the Premier League title race by his former mentor for the last two seasons, is determined to alter that outcome in the near future.
Although last summer’s £200 million expenditure may have placed Arsenal in a vulnerable financial position, the club appears prepared to make significant moves for 2025. The level of players being associated with Arsenal indicates that they are ready to invest heavily once more.
Following Arteta’s recent extension of his contract for three years, focus has shifted back to transfers, with reports indicating an ambitious three-pronged approach. Uxsports has provided the latest updates on Arsenal’s transfer strategies and rumors.
**Musiala on the Radar**
Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich has surfaced as a potential target in Arsenal’s search for a unique attacking option, according to *The Times*. Along with Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, Musiala has attracted Arsenal’s interest, though his £100 million valuation initially deterred potential buyers. However, as the 21-year-old nears the final year of his contract after the 2024/25 season, that price might decrease significantly.
Negotiations for a contract extension at Bayern have stalled, which could allow for a more affordable transfer next summer.
Uxsports notes: “Acquiring Musiala for the Emirates would send a strong message from Arteta and Edu. The former Chelsea prospect has immense potential and could be the key to Arsenal’s long-term success. Bayern will not accept less than £100 million now, but they might have to lower their expectations if Musiala’s contract situation remains unresolved.”
Liverpool had also shown interest in Musiala, but he fits the profile of the attacking talent Arteta seeks.
**Arteta’s Quest for a Defensive Midfielder**
Alongside Musiala, Arsenal are also seeking a young defensive midfielder, aiming to replicate the impact Rodri had at Manchester City after his move at 23. Arteta seems to be shifting Declan Rice into a more advanced role, leaving the defensive midfield position open as Thomas Partey and Jorginho approach the ends of their careers.
According to The Times, the search for a new No.6 is ongoing, with Arteta looking for a player who can revolutionize Arsenal’s midfield as Rodri has for City.
Uxsports adds: “The market for defensive midfielders is limited, but if anyone can find a hidden gem or rejuvenate a top talent, it’s Arteta. Long-term target Martin Zubimendi appears committed to staying at Real Sociedad, and at nearly 26, he might be considered too old, given that Arteta is focusing on younger players like Musiala and Williams.”
With the summer transfer window still months away, Edu and his scouting team have plenty of time to identify the ideal candidate to meet Arteta’s vision for the team.
