Liverpool is open to agreeing to a favorable offer to facilitate the departure of their £225,000-a-week star, according to reports.
Liverpool takes a different approach compared to other Premier League giants, prioritizing “strategic transfers at smart prices” while balancing immediate needs and long-term potential.
This method has helped ensure a seamless transition from “Jürgen Klopp” to “Arne Slot.” Klopp’s squad revamp last season positioned the team perfectly for Slot to continue their development.
A key example of Liverpool’s forward-looking approach is their signing of Valencia goalkeeper “Giorgi Mamardashvili.” Although currently playing in La Liga, he will join Liverpool next summer after the season concludes.
Mamardashvili’s arrival raises concerns about the future of “Alisson Becker,” who has been Liverpool’s main goalkeeper and earns £225,000 per week.
As reported by Spanish outlet “Fichajes,” Liverpool is contemplating facilitating Alisson’s exit next summer, with the Saudi Pro League being a potential destination.
However, at 31, Alisson might choose to stay at Liverpool for another year. If he remains, Liverpool may either “integrate Mamardashvili gradually” or send him out on loan.
In the end, Mamardashvili reflects Liverpool’s long-term strategy, and with further experience, he could be ready to take over as the club’s number one goalkeeper.
