🚨Fabrizio Romano drops Martin Zubimendi bombshell after Liverpool’s failed attempt to sign him in summer window

Fabrizio Romano has indicated that Liverpool could renew their interest in Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi in the future. Although Zubimendi turned down a move to Liverpool during the summer transfer window, choosing to stay with his boyhood club, the possibility of a future transfer remains open. Romano noted in an interview with *Anything Liverpool* that he wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool makes another attempt for Zubimendi.

Despite speculation that Real Sociedad might offer Zubimendi a new contract, no new terms have been proposed yet. Real Sociedad’s poor start to the season, with only one win in their first four La Liga matches, could influence the midfielder’s future. Their upcoming match against Real Madrid could further impact their season’s trajectory.

Liverpool, who are unbeaten this season and have had a strong start with a perfect record in their first three matches, are still prioritizing the acquisition of a new number six. Ryan Gravenberch has performed well, but Liverpool is keen on adding more depth to the midfield. David Lynch from the Anfield Agenda YouTube channel also believes Liverpool might revisit their pursuit of Zubimendi in January.

In the meantime, Liverpool made some moves during the summer, signing Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia and Federico Chiesa, though Mamardashvili was loaned back to Valencia immediately.
