🚨Barcelona settles on its first deal in the upcoming winter transfer window
Hansi Flick, Barcelona’s head coach, has identified Oscar Mingueza as a key target for the club’s upcoming winter transfer window, aiming to bolster the squad for the crucial stages of the season. According to journalist Luis Rojo of *Marca*, Barcelona is focusing on strengthening the right-back position, and Mingueza, who currently plays for Celta Vigo and has earned a call-up to the Spanish national team, is set to be their first signing.
Mingueza, a former Barcelona player, has a release clause of 20 million euros. However, due to Barcelona retaining 50% of his rights from the initial transfer to Celta, they could potentially secure his return for just 10 million euros, if Celta decides to sell him. This clause gives Barcelona a significant advantage in re-signing the defender.
As Barcelona currently leads La Liga with a perfect record of 12 points from four matches, Flick is keen to ensure that the team remains in top form both technically and physically for the remainder of the campaign.
