Paul Pogba, a star player for Juventus, has said that it has been difficult for him since he was banned from football for four years earlier this year.
Drug control officials at NADO Italia issued the ban after Pogba failed a drug test.
A “B” sample also came back positive, showing elevated levels of testosterone in his body.
Additionally, Juventus suspended Pogba, and he is now receiving the minimum salary allowed by regulations.
In an interview with Forbes, Pogba said, “It is hard to be completely honest. I have played football all my life. But my family, my religion, my friends, and my fans have been there for me, which makes things easier. Everything will be okay.”
The French player is now taking his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
He also said, “I can not say much about this, but everything leads to the date of the appeal. My main goal until then is to stay in shape and look forward to the appeal.”
