Liverpool is looking to sign Jamal Musiala, an attacker for Bayern Munich, at the end of the current season.

The 21-year-old forward has attracted Liverpool’s management, who aim to secure his signature when the season concludes.

Manchester City is also interested in Musiala and has reportedly set an asking price of around £100 million, making the competition for his services intense.

Musiala still has two years left on his contract with Bayern Munich, so the German club is not compelled to sell him this summer.

To acquire Musiala, both Liverpool and Manchester City would need to meet Bayern’s valuation.

Bayern was willing to extend Musiala’s contract, but he declined, indicating his openness to a move.

Liverpool’s pursuit of Musiala could be influenced by potential player departures, such as Mohamed Salah, who is being monitored by Saudi Arabian clubs.

If Liverpool sells Salah in the summer, they could have the funds needed to pursue Musiala.

Replacing Salah with Musiala would require Liverpool to adjust their strategy, given Musiala’s different skill set and playing style.

However, Musiala has proven to be one of the most promising young attackers in European football, capable of playing on the wing or as a central attacking midfielder.

With 10 goals and 6 assists in all competitions this season, he has demonstrated his ability to enhance Liverpool’s attack.

A move to the Premier League would offer Musiala a significant opportunity to develop his skills and make a greater impact at a top-level club.

Liverpool’s interest in Musiala indicates their intent to strengthen their squad and remain competitive in both domestic and European competitions.

As negotiations continue, Musiala’s potential move to Liverpool will be closely watched during the upcoming transfer window.
