Evra Slams Rashford After Another Controversies Off The Pitch.

Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has publicly criticized Marcus Rashford for his inconsistent performances and off-field behavior. According to Sky Sports, Rashford was caught speeding at 104 mph in his £560,000 Rolls Royce, resulting in a six-month driving ban, a £1,666 fine, and additional court costs. This incident follows another crash involving one of his Rolls Royce vehicles just months earlier.

Evra expressed his disapproval, stating that if this had happened during Sir Alex Ferguson’s tenure, Rashford would have faced severe consequences. He emphasized that Rashford’s lack of discipline and involvement in controversies are unprofessional and unacceptable for a Manchester United player. Evra suggested that Rashford appears to be tired of playing for the club and might need to consider leaving.

Rashford’s speeding violation, which occurred on the M60 freeway, involved him telling police he was speeding because he thought a car was following him. This was met with the officer’s advice to call 999 if he felt threatened, to which Rashford responded that it happens too frequently for him to call every time.

Off-the-field issues have plagued Rashford recently, including being dropped by Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag last season for missing training to attend a party in Ireland. His form on the pitch has also been inconsistent, leading to his exclusion from the England team and missing out on the Euros, where England reached the final without him.

As the new season approaches, Rashford will aim to overcome these distractions and refocus, especially with Manchester United bolstering their squad with new signings like Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro.
