Manchester United fans are excited about Radek Vitek, who delivered an “amazing” performance in the opening pre-season game against Rosenborg BK. Despite United’s 1-0 defeat due to a late goal by Noah Jean Holm, Vitek’s display in goal was a highlight.

Vitek, a 20-year-old Czech goalkeeper who joined United in 2020 from Sigma Olomouc, made seven saves during the match, earning praise from manager Erik ten Hag, who noted that Vitek had the opportunity to shine thanks to the team’s overall lackluster performance. Vitek had previously made 18 appearances for League Two side Accrington Stanley last season.

United fans took to social media to commend Vitek’s performance, suggesting he should get another good loan or even be considered for the number two goalkeeper spot. Comments from fans included praise for his outrageous saves and recognition of his potential as an excellent keeper developed by the academy.
