With only two years left on his contract, Van den Berg feels that Liverpool’s asking price is too high. His representatives are now urging the club to reconsider and reduce the fee, making his desire to leave clear. Van den Berg has spent much of his time at Liverpool on loan, struggling to make a significant impact at Anfield. His potential move to PSV represents an opportunity for more consistent playing time and career development.
