A former player from the Premier League offers Kylian Mbappe unexpected recommendations regarding transfers.

Former Arsenal and Manchester City player Samir Nasri has suggested that Kylian Mbappe should contemplate staying in France rather than opting for a transfer to Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Nasri, who made the move to Arsenal from Marseille in 2008, also implied that had Marseille been owned by Qataris during his tenure, he would have likely stayed. He advised Mbappe to follow a similar trajectory by solidifying his position as the central figure in his current club.

“He’s Parisian: if I were in his position, I would remain at PSG rather than joining Real Madrid to aid them in securing their 50th Champions League title.”

“If Marseille had been owned by Qataris while I was with the club, I would never have left. Being the primary figure in your hometown is a better choice,” stated the former French international in an interview with Le10Sport.

Recent reports have indicated that Kylian Mbappe has decided to waive a loyalty bonus offered by PSG. In exchange, PSG will not hinder his move if he decides to join Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid released an official statement on Saturday, stating that they have not been in contact with the PSG player.

As of the present scenario, the French team is just one point behind the leaders, OGC Nice, while Real Madrid finds themselves two points behind Girona, who surprisingly top the La Liga table after 12 matches.
