Xavi vents frustration at referee following FC Barcelona’s Champions League elimination.
Barcelona’s Champions League aspirations were shattered when they were knocked out in the quarter-finals by PSG (4-6 aggregate), with Ronald Araujo’s red card during the second leg at Montjuïc being the turning point.
Manager Xavi Hernández voiced his discontent with the referee’s choices after the game, labeling them as both poor and disastrous.

Regarding the future, Xavi recognized the importance of mastering minor details to prevent similar setbacks.
He retained optimism about Barcelona’s future, affirming their resolve to rebound and challenge in the Champions League next season.
Asked about his role in the team’s future, Xavi modestly shifted the attention to Barcelona as a whole, asserting that the club’s pursuit of success will persist regardless of individual roles.

The referees were terrible, there were lots of mistakes made by the referees. Such referees are not allowed to referee in such big games. I want to appeal to fefa to punish those referees for their unthinkable mistakes and which will serve as a lesson to the others. Barcelona fought very hard to reach the quarter final and leading the first leg, taking away the opportunity from Barcelona with such error was terrible.
