Barcelona
Breaking news: In a report just in from Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona is actively pursuing Thomas Tuchel and Joshua Kimmich. Laporte, according to reports, has proposed Tuchel as a replacement for Xavi as head coach and is keen on bringing the German powerhouse Kimmich to Barcelona.

Barcelona is reportedly eyeing Bayern Munich forward Bryan Zaragoza for the upcoming summer transfer window. Zaragoza’s journey to Bayern began with a loan move from Spanish club Granada in January 2024, with plans for a permanent transfer in the summer. However, the transition has been challenging for Zaragoza, who has only made two appearances for Bayern, totaling just 35 minutes of playing time. El Nacional reports that his difficulties are exacerbated by a lack of fluency in German or English.
As a result, both Zaragoza and Bayern are considering parting ways in the summer, with Barcelona emerging as a potential destination. Barcelona had previously shown interest in Zaragoza during his time at Granada but couldn’t meet the asking price, estimated between €15-20 million. Now, Barcelona seeks to acquire Zaragoza’s services initially on loan, with an option to buy, with the total fee not exceeding €20 million. While Zaragoza is eager to return to Spain, the outcome depends on negotiations between the two clubs.
Before his move to Bayern, the 22-year-old enjoyed a successful stint at Granada, accumulating 58 senior appearances and contributing 11 goals and three assists. However, Zaragoza is not the only Bayern player on Barcelona’s radar; they have also been linked with Joshua Kimmich, whose contract expires in 2025, sparking speculation of a potential departure in the summer.
In other developments, Barcelona is preparing to face Las Palmas in La Liga, with manager Xavi confirming that key players Ilkay Gundogan and Robert Lewandowski will not be rested for the upcoming fixture. Despite their significant playing time, both players are deemed fit and ready to contribute. Xavi commended Gundogan’s outstanding season, highlighting his invaluable contributions both on and off the pitch. The German midfielder has been pivotal for Barcelona this season, boasting impressive statistics and serving as a cornerstone for the team. Similarly, Lewandowski’s influence has been profound, with his prolific goal-scoring record and wealth of experience enhancing Barcelona’s attacking prowess.
With the La Liga title race heating up, Barcelona cannot afford to become complacent, particularly with a crucial UEFA Champions League quarter-final showdown against Paris Saint-Germain on the horizon. Consequently, Xavi is determined to field his strongest lineup against Las Palmas, with Gundogan and Lewandowski poised to play pivotal roles in Barcelona’s quest for silverware this season.
