BREAKING NEWS: According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United has finalized a deal for the replacement of Raphael Varane. The agreement puts United ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool in securing the signature of a Serie A center-back star who earns €178k-a-week. Manchester United is in a prime position to acquire the Serie A star, who is eager to join the club next summer due to a favorable release clause. This Italian player is seen as a valuable addition to the team, boasting an impressive 87% passing accuracy in Serie A this season. Additionally, he averages 5.4 duels won per game, alongside 5.4 recoveries and 3.9 clearances, showcasing his defensive capabilities. With the Varane replacement secured, Manchester United is poised to elevate their performance with this formidable addition to their squad.

Manchester United has emerged as the frontrunner in the race to secure Juventus defender Gleison Bremer, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport. Despite competition from Newcastle United, Manchester United appears to have the upper hand in negotiations for the Brazilian center-back.
As Manchester United prepares for the upcoming summer transfer window, they have identified Bremer as their top target to strengthen their defensive lineup, as indicated by Italian sources. Despite Bremer signing a long-term contract extension with Juventus in December, a “soft release clause” of €61 million was included, facilitating his potential departure from the club.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Bremer appears destined for a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United leading the negotiations over Newcastle. Juventus stands to benefit significantly from Bremer’s prospective transfer, with €55 million set to come their way, while his former club Torino is entitled to 10% of the fee per their agreement.
The 27-year-old Brazilian has garnered praise for his performances in Serie A, capturing the attention of Manchester United as they close in on securing his services. With the presence of the release clause, Manchester United could expedite the process of acquiring Bremer if personal terms are agreed upon, bypassing the need for lengthy negotiations with Juventus.
Currently earning €178,000 per week with Juventus, Bremer is expected to seek a higher wage, potentially around €250,000 weekly, should he move to Old Trafford. Despite concerns about his age, manager Erik ten Hag may view him as an experienced replacement for Raphael Varane, whose contract expires in June and remains unsigned.
Bremer’s impressive statistics in Serie A underline his defensive prowess, boasting an 87% passing accuracy this season. He has been a key figure in duels, averaging 5.4 per game, along with 5.4 recoveries and 3.9 clearances. Additionally, he has showcased his tackling ability with an average of 1.8 tackles per match, contributing to 12 clean sheets. With Bremer reportedly eager to join the Premier League, Manchester United appears well-positioned to secure his services.
