BREAKING NEWS: “I provided crucial instructions to prevent further goals, but he failed to follow them. Instead, he confused his teammates. He bears sole responsibility for Manchester United’s dreadful loss today against Manchester City,” Erik ten Hag confessed. “The fans adore him, but starting him poses a risk. Today’s match has made that evident to all.” 💔 😳🙀

Manchester United’s recent struggles in the Premier League persisted with a second consecutive defeat, effectively extinguishing their hopes of securing a top-four finish. Aston Villa now holds an 11-point advantage over them in fourth place.
The match began positively for United, with Marcus Rashford’s early and stunning goal providing them with a lead they managed to uphold until halftime under the guidance of manager Erik ten Hag.
However, their advantage was short-lived as the hosts quickly equalized just 10 minutes into the second half, increasing the pressure on United. Ultimately, they conceded a late winner from Phil Foden and a third goal from Erling Haaland shortly after.
Player performances exhibited a range, with goalkeeper Andre Onana emerging as one of United’s standout performers. He made crucial saves throughout the game and played a significant role in their opening goal.
Diogo Dalot exhibited a commendable performance for the majority of the match, although his effectiveness declined in the final stages.
Raphael Varane showcased defensive prowess with a solid display, although it fell short of preventing City from scoring.
In contrast, Victor Lindelof faced challenges in an unfamiliar left-back role, and Casemiro’s performance was relatively average compared to his previous outings.
Kobbie Mainoo displayed potential and adaptability, and Scott McTominay’s role in the advanced midfield contributed to stabilizing United’s midfield, although it came at the cost of their attacking prowess.
Alejandro Garnacho maintained a relatively low profile throughout the game, and Bruno Fernandes couldn’t wield his usual influence due to United’s challenges in maintaining possession.
Although Rashford’s early goal stood out as a highlight, his overall performance was considered acceptable, albeit without a substantial impact beyond the initial goal.

As a Manchester United fun, we have to accept that Ten Han has faced a lot of difficults with this dismantled team. He is a very good tactical manager, given a good team he can really win trophies. Ten Hag has faced a team selection problem dew injury problems the team has faced this season, actually a list of players are supposed to be sold/layed off whether for little amount or free in the next transfer window without fail.
If Man-U is to come back into its days of glory, every player in the team should have healthy competitors for the number he is playing (not sick competitors).
Players like Anthony Martial, Mount name them, and those bench warmers just lay them off and bring in those that can bring a healthy competition in the team.
