Darwin Nunez’s impressive chipped goal during Liverpool’s match against Brentford has made it to the shortlist for the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award for February.

The striker, wearing the No.9 jersey, scored the opening goal in Liverpool’s 4-1 victory, receiving a headed assist from Diogo Jota before delicately lobbing the goalkeeper from outside the box.

Nunez’s goal is among eight contenders for the coveted award, alongside goals by Kobbie Mainoo, Richarlison, Joao Pedro, Declan Rice, Jefferson Lerma, Jordan Ayew, and Emerson Palmieri.

Fans have the opportunity to vote for Nunez to win the award until 12pm GMT on March 4.
