“We are exclusively targeting these players for the upcoming season. While they come with a hefty price tag, we believe they are worth the investment. Erik ten Hag aims to utilize them to establish dominance in the Premier League.” – United compiles a four-player transfer shortlist for the summer, featuring a Premier League star sought after by Tottenham.

Manchester United is reportedly considering a four-player shortlist as they prepare for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite significant acquisitions in the previous summer, the team’s performance has not met expectations, currently sitting in sixth place in the Premier League. With the goal of reinforcing their squad, United, now under the ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, is targeting central defense improvements.

Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite is among the desired players, but strong competition exists from Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Real Madrid. Additionally, United is keeping an eye on Antonio Silva from Benfica, Jean Clair Todibo from Nice, and Leny Yoro from Lille.

Leny Yoro, a player on Manchester United’s four-man transfer shortlist for the summer, has reportedly also attracted interest from Real Madrid. In the case of Jarrad Branthwaite, Everton may consider parting ways with the player for a substantial fee during the upcoming transfer window.

Everton is looking to raise funds amid financial challenges, which include a pending takeover by 777 Partners, a 10-point deduction for breaching Profit and Sustainability rules, and the ongoing battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Both Branthwaite and Amadou Onana are identified as potential departures to address the club’s financial difficulties.
