Responding to Jamie Carragher’s inquiry about the world’s top goalkeeper, Cech recognized the competition among Alisson, Ederson, and Courtois. In the end, he inclined towards Alisson, highlighting the Brazilian goalkeeper’s performance in the current season, even considering Courtois’ absence due to injury for a portion of the campaign.

During an appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Jamie Carragher posed a question to the former Czech international about the current best goalkeeper in the world:

“Who do you think is the best goalkeeper in the world right now?” Carragher inquired. “I believe it’s a competition between Alisson, Ederson, or Courtois,” responded the former Chelsea player.

“Alright, which one?” Carragher pressed. Cech opted for the Liverpool goalkeeper, stating, “I’d go… Okay, this season Courtois was injured, I’ll go with Alisson.”
