Granada’s coach commended the Manchester United loanee for his exceptional display against Barcelona, drawing parallels between his style of play and Lionel Messi’s, and expressing satisfaction at having such talent on the team.

Granada manager Alexander Medina has provided his assessment of Facundo Pellistri, currently on loan from Manchester United, following the player’s impressive performance against Barcelona. Pellistri, at the age of 22, joined Granada on loan last month and made a notable debut against Las Palmas, despite his team playing with 10 men for most of the match. His standout performance came in his second start against Barcelona, where he scored a well-executed goal and delivered an excellent assist with a cutback cross. In a La Liga encounter that concluded in a 3-3 draw, Pellistri’s contributions played a crucial role in securing a point for Granada.

Even though Facundo Pellistri only started three games for Manchester United in the first half of the season, Medina has highly praised his impact at Granada. The manager commended the young Uruguayan for his performances and swift adaptation to the club. Medina stressed the significance of Pellistri’s contribution, expressing satisfaction with his quality and performance, noting his ability to showcase footballing skills and adaptability.

Despite Pellistri’s limited opportunities at Manchester United, Medina is thrilled with his signing for Granada. He believes that the loan spell will offer Pellistri the chance to gain playing time and demonstrate his talent.

The manager expressed contentment with Pellistri’s immediate impact, highlighting his impressive display in just his second game for Granada, especially considering they played with a numerical disadvantage for most of the match against Barcelona.

Medina reiterated his contentment with Pellistri’s loan arrangement, stressing its significance in ensuring the player gets consistent playing time.

Furthermore, Medina hinted at Pellistri’s underappreciated status at Manchester United, describing his time there as “quite neglected.” This implies that Pellistri’s loan move to Granada presents a valuable chance for him to demonstrate his abilities and receive the playing time he might not have gotten at his parent club.

In general, Medina’s evaluation suggests a positive perspective on Pellistri’s loan stint at Granada and his potential to make a considerable impact in La Liga.
