However, our decision was unwavering: we chose to join Ajax,” clarified Brobbey. In order to facilitate the return, Rodriguez even relinquished a significant percentage of the sell-on clause.

Choosing not to pursue the opportunity to play for Manchester United, Brobbey committed to Ajax, inking a five-year contract at the Johan Cruyff Arena for an initial €16.35 million.
