When acquiring Manchester United, our intention is serious, and we are determined to secure the services of top-tier players globally. Ratcliffe is preparing ‘the most substantial offer ever,’ having reportedly reached an ‘agreement’ with Kylian Mbappe and three other prominent European players.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly set to authorize a £172 million bid by Manchester United for Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Red Devils confirmed the agreement with the British billionaire on Christmas Eve, with the deal awaiting Premier League ratification. Ratcliffe, who attended his first match at Old Trafford since the agreement, mentioned in a press conference that he expects the deal to be finalized in early February. Ratcliffe is anticipated to assume control of footballing operations at Old Trafford, planning to appoint a new sporting director and revamp the recruitment department.

According to Spanish publication Nacional, Ratcliffe is keen on bringing Vinicius to Manchester United and is preparing a substantial offer of €200 million (£172 million) for the Real Madrid winger. This proposed bid would make Vinicius the second most expensive signing in football history, trailing only Neymar, and it would represent the largest offer in Manchester United’s history.

The funds from this potential deal are expected to provide the necessary resources to secure Kylian Mbappe’s arrival and facilitate the signing of other targeted players, including Alphonso Davies. Nacional suggests that Manchester United will need to make a compelling case to convince Vinicius, while they claim that Real Madrid has already reached an agreement to sign Mbappe on a free transfer in the summer. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also provided updates on Real Madrid’s potential interest in Bayern Munich’s Davies.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s column on Caught Offside, Alphonso Davies is a prime target for Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window. While no immediate action is expected during the current January transfer window, Real Madrid is reportedly determined to pursue the signing of Davies in the summer.

The club is actively engaged in internal discussions and considerations regarding the left-back, consistently acknowledging him as one of their top targets. Romano suggests that Bayern Munich has the option to try and extend Davies’ contract; however, if no agreement is reached by April or May, the left-back could potentially depart. Real Madrid is closely monitoring the situation, and Davies is regarded as a priority for the summer transfer window.
