Gary Neville’s fierce response to the immediate impact of Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho at Borussia Dortmund.

The Manchester United winger quickly introduced himself to the Dortmund supporters upon his Bundesliga return on Saturday afternoon.
Gary Neville has expressed his views on Jadon Sancho’s loan departure from Manchester United after the player played a key role in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-0 victory against SV Darmstadt.
The 23-year-old returned to the German club for the remainder of the season following his exclusion from the Red Devils’ squad by manager Erik ten Hag. Sancho had been benched by the Dutchman in September, who cited subpar training performances as the reason, leading to a public disagreement on social media by the player.
In a statement posted on social media after Erik ten Hag’s remarks, Sancho urged fans not to believe the manager’s comments, asserting that he was being made a ‘scapegoat’ for the team’s poor on-field performances. Subsequently, he was excluded from the first team and has not played a minute in the Premier League since then.
And it seems that Ten Hag’s aspirations are materializing, as Sancho played a significant role in Dortmund’s second goal during their 3-0 victory. The initial goal was scored by Julian Brandt just before the 30-minute mark, and it’s noteworthy that the English international began the game on the bench in his return to Germany.
Nonetheless, he came on for fellow countryman Jamie Bynoe-Gittens only 10 minutes into the second half, marking the star’s first appearance in over five months. He wasted no time seizing the chance, as just 20 minutes later, Sancho connected with a pass into the box from Donyell Malen, sending the ball across the six-yard box for his teammate Marco Reus to tap in at the back post.

Youssoufa Moukoko sealed the game with Dortmund’s third goal in the 92nd minute, and Sancho’s impact did not go unnoticed in England. Former United star Neville shared his thoughts on social media, posting two laughing emojis, implying that he finds it amusing and inevitable that Sancho would prove the decision to loan him away from the club wrong.
