“We cannot afford to be patient with these players anymore. It is crucial that we part ways with Antony and Jadon Sancho, and potentially Greenwood, to secure three exceptional wingers from France. This decision aligns with Erik ten Hag’s directives in the recent meeting with INEOS, emphasizing the urgency to make these changes before other major clubs make their moves.”

Manchester United has initiated an audacious £100 million transfer strategy to offload both Jadon Sancho and Antony. Following a falling out with Erik ten Hag, Sancho has departed Old Trafford, securing a loan move to Borussia Dortmund until the season’s end, with no purchase option included. Antony, on the other hand, has faced criticism for his lackluster performances in a Manchester United jersey this season, having failed to score a goal in 22 appearances.
Jadon Sancho and Antony are considered surplus to requirements at Manchester United, and the club has put forth a plan to offload them in the upcoming summer transfer window, as reported. According to The Standard, both players have been made available to clubs in Saudi Arabia, with Manchester United aiming to recoup a portion of the £155 million they spent on the duo. The club is reportedly seeking around £50 million each for Sancho and Antony. Despite previous links to Barcelona and Juventus, Sancho opted for a loan move to Borussia Dortmund this month. The English winger, acquired for £73 million in 2021, has scored 12 goals in 82 games for Manchester United. Having made just three appearances under Ten Hag this season, he returned to Germany. Antony, the Brazilian forward, was reportedly instructed by Ten Hag to ‘do better’ last week and faces an uncertain future at Manchester United.
Acquired for an astounding £86 million in the summer of 2022, Antony has struggled to make a significant impact at Manchester United. The 23-year-old forward has yet to score this season, contrasting with his eight goals in 44 appearances across all competitions in the previous season. Manchester United’s director of football, John Murtough, engaged in discussions with officials from the Saudi Pro League and Saudi Ministry of Sport during the Club World Cup in December, aiming to establish connections that could facilitate player sales in the upcoming summer. As a result of these talks, there is a possibility that both Jadon Sancho and Antony could be transferred to clubs in Saudi Arabia.
