Contrary to claims suggesting that Hakim Ziyech has requested an early termination of his loan arrangement with Galatasaray, the agent who facilitated Ziyech’s move from Chelsea to Galatasaray has refuted such speculation.

Ziyech had joined Galatasaray on loan during the summer as part of his contractual arrangements with Chelsea. Recent reports in Turkey had hinted at the possibility of Galatasaray considering an early termination of the loan deal this month. The agent has now spoken out to address these rumors.

Contrary to speculation suggesting that Hakim Ziyech has requested an early termination of his loan arrangement with Galatasaray, the agent responsible for facilitating Ziyech’s move from Chelsea to Galatasaray has denied such claims. It was confirmed that Galatasaray did not pay a fee for the agreement, and they also secured the option to sign Ziyech on a free transfer the following summer.

Ziyech successfully secured the loan move at the end of the previous summer. Recent reports had hinted at the possibility of Galatasaray considering an early termination of the loan deal due to concerns over Ziyech’s performance.

Last summer, Hakim Ziyech departed from Chelsea to join Galatasaray. Before heading to the Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco, the 30-year-old winger made fourteen appearances for Galatasaray this season, contributing four goals and two assists across various competitions.

While Ziyech is still under contract with Chelsea until 2025, it seems unlikely that he would be part of Mauricio Pochettino’s revamped team if Galatasaray does not secure his permanent signing at the end of the current season.

Ziyech’s final appearance for Chelsea was in May 2023, coming on as a late substitute and providing an assist in a 4-1 loss against Manchester United. The match was managed by Frank Lampard, the coach instrumental in Ziyech’s £33 million transfer to Stamford Bridge three years earlier.

During his three-year stint with Chelsea, Ziyech contributed to 14 goals and 13 assists in 107 games. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the club’s Champions League triumph in 2021, securing their second-ever title in the competition.
